Harrison Hydraulic Fittings
|
In 2003, Stanley Aviation completed the acquisition of the Harrison
division of the
Sierracin Corporation.
http://www.stanley-harrison.com.
This addition has greatly expanded the
capabilities of Stanley
Aviation as an overall, full service, Fluid Delivery System
supplier.
From its modest beginnings, Harrison has grown into a thriving
research, development
and production operation for high pressure hydraulic fittings.
Harrison is a unique
industrial resource in the manufacture of high technology products
for such diverse
markets as aircraft, missiles, satellites and land vehicles.
Harrison is the only hydraulic
fitting manufacture that designs and manufactures all types of
swaged and welded
fittings, and also manufactures and provides tooling that assures
the proper installation
of those fittings on all types of tubing.

Internal Swage Hydraulic Fittings
|
|
 |
Harrison's internally swaged fittings are
mechanically fastened on the end of removable (non-permanent) tube
assemblies. These tube assemblies are used in hydraulic and
high-pressure pneumatic applications. Internal Swage fittings are
attached to the end of tubes by either elastomeric or roller swaging
and include sleeves, unions, nuts, and bulkheads. They come in
2-groove and 3-groove versions and can be manufactured from CRES,
titanium, aluminum and other exotic metals.

Externally Swaged Hydraulic Fittings
|
|
 |
SierraSwageTM externally swaged
fittings are used in permanent applications to join two or more tube
assemblies in similar systems. These type of fittings are radically
swaged onto the outside tube diameter, allowing in aircraft
installation of "shape Fittings" such as elbows, crossed, and
machined-tees. The SierraSwageTM fittings are available
in CRES, titanium and aluminum and can attain sealing pressures of
5,000 psi.

Axially Swaged Fittings
|
|
 |
Axial swage fittings are used to join two in-line
tube assemblies in a permanent connection. The "Quick-Fit" and
H-fitting are our two primary axial swage product lines. Both the
"Quick-fit" and H-fitting can be installed without exotic or
expensive tooling. H-fittings are used primarily in repair
situations and since it is a permanent connection, no subsequent
replacement or maintenance is required.

Harrison Swage Tooling
|
|
 |
Harrison manufactures a complete line of
portable, semi-automatic, and fully automatic swage machines.
Portable hand swage tools are used for tube repair, low-to-medium
volume production of tube assemblies, and experimental/prototype
operations. Semi-automatic and fully automatic swage machines are
designed for high-volume manufacturing and come housed in mobile
steel carts that can attach fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic fittings
to CRES, aluminum or annealed titanium tubing.
Elastomeric swaging utilizes a hydrostatic principle to expand
the tube outward into machined annular grooves within the fittings.
Roller swaging is a tube forming process which uses a roller type
mandrel, and is ideal for titanium tubing and very high pressure
applications.

Harrison Metal Seal Products - "K-Seals"
|
|
 |
K-Seals are high-performance static fluids seals
that use the compression of mating surfaces to create a
metal-to-metal, leak-proof seal. Typical K-Seals are manufactured
from A286, 304,
7-4 CRES and Inconel X-750, with coatings such as gold, silver, lead
and Teflon applied to the outer surface. |
