Eaton Aerospace Aurora is internationally recognized as
a designer and manufacturer of leading-edge Ground Support Equipment
(GSE) for commercial and military engine handling systems, towbars
and auxiliary equipment containers. We were the first GSE Company
to "Split" a PW40743/B777 fan case and engine core for shipment.
Eaton Aerospace Aurora
has the in-house capabilities to design, manufacture, and test all
of our GSE products.

We specialize in both rail-mounted and dagger-mounted
engine stands so customers utilize equipment that works best in
their facility. Stands frequently can be used with different engine
cradles to allow greater flexibility. Our engine-handling systems
have been licensed by all the major commercial engine manufacturers:
CFM International, General Electric, IAE, Pratt and Whitney,
Rolls-Royce and Snecma.

Military Systems

Eaton Aerospace Aurora designs and manufactures engine
transportation, installation and handling systems for the C-17,
F15,F16,F22 and JSF aircraft engines. We developed engineering
drawings for military programs that meet the stringent DOD-100 level
3 drawing requirements and are produced on the latest,
state-of-the-art, three dimensional engineering design and drafting
systems which allows seamless data transfer with the Air Force
Program Office. Our customers have commended our military systems
personnel for their attention to detail and multiple successful
program
conclusions.

Towbars

We produce many towbar types to meet the
requirements of our customers. Our largest product lines are the
Kwik-lok for smaller aircraft and the Slide-Lok for larger aircraft.
Each version offers a simple attachment mechanism and low
maintenance operation. Standard features include jack knifing
restriction, spare shear pin kits and durable high-strength tubular
steel.
