Eaton Aerospace Aurora offers a wider range of skills and expertise necessary to support our customer's engineering needs. Our teamwork philosophy assures that design and manufacturing engineers collaborate with production personnel and our customers, giving reality to the term "Concurrent Engineering". This guarantees that our products are efficient in design and manufacture. Eaton's varied product line, from military jet fighter fluid delivery systems (FDS), to large complex engine handling systems and small intricate fluid components, accurately reflects the competence and dexterity of our engineering team.
 
Eaton Aerospace maintains the most-modern engineering design tools in our industry. Our high-powered workstations run the latest solid modeling and engineering software. Currently, Eaton Aerospace Aurora licenses Pro Engineer, CATIA (V4 and V5), UniGraphics and AUTOCAD, thereby assuring that we can transfer digital design information with virtually any customer. Designs and products benefit from our extensive use of finite element analysis (FEA) during the design stage. Using these tools, our engineers have become effective in quickly optimizing designs to meet precise system application and product requirements.
  Product and System Analysis

Our solution-oriented design engineers bring a vast amount of modeling, analysis, and system optimization/integration, experience from a variety of various military and commercial aerospace companies.

Eaton supports CATIA (V4 and V5), Pro/Engineer, UniGraphics, and AutoCAD three-dimensional CAD/CAM solid modeling platforms. We also use the respective tube design and data modules available for these packages. Finite element analyses (FEA) are performed with Pro/Mechanica nonlinear and dynamic analysis capabilities. All digital designs are stored electronically and networked so engineers have immediate access to copies of any drawing or solid model from their own workstation, and we highly support the ability to transfer files offsite via secure internet links.
  Testing


Eaton's testing capabilities are as diverse as the product we manufacture, FDS systems and components are rigorously tested by means that accurately represent in-service conditions. Independent firms may also verify the results.
 
For GSE, our test engineers fully qualify each system to meet the engineer manufacturer's specifications. Such test are carried out in Eaton's structural testing facility affectionately know as "The Pagoda" The facility is capable of testing even the largest commercial aviation systems and features real-time data collection.
