Air Frame Tube & Ducting
|
Eaton Aerospace Aurora has vast experience as an industrial leader in
the design, development,
and manufacture of airframe tubing, ducting and coupling systems
for a wide variety of liquid and gaseous systems. Our
experience includes fuel, environmental control, air,
water, waste, oxygen, fuel-inerting (OBIGGS), fire
extinguishing, thrust vectoring, oil and life support:
Fluid Delivery Systems (FDS) design and manufacture. Our
expertise in the tube and duct arena has progressed from a
build-to-print component manufacturer; to a tube design and
manufacturing "value engineering" specialist; and finally, to a
complete systems design and development organization. |

Strategic
Offload - Build to Print
|
 |
Eaton Aerospace Aurora adds considerable
value to the manufacture of all routing and distribution
systems, and can offer airframe manufacturers the ability to
remain competitive in an increasingly aggressive market. Historically, this type of work
had been performed in-house at the airframe manufacturing
facility. We offer a cost effective alternative
to this approach and has frequently been able to offer
substantiated procurement savings of 60%-70% and more.
Eliminating other hidden costs further complements this
significant "direct cost" reduction.

Value
Engineering
|
 |
Maintaining
core competency in our critical areas of expertise provides
Eaton with the unparalleled capability to develop
unique and innovative solutions for our customers.
We can identify and implement productivity
enhancements for routing and distribution systems that are cost
effective and performance enhancing. Based on our proven record
of accomplishment in value engineering exercises, we can offer alternatives to unnecessary cost and
process-sensitive design drivers while at the same time
improving quality and reliability.

Tube and
Component Manufacturing
|
 |
Our core competencies exist in all critical
areas of the tube assembly fabrication process including
bending; fit and trim; welding (orbital and custom); swaging;
thin-wall Al, Ti, CRES and Inconel welding; pressure testing;
tool design and fabrication; heat treat; paint; insulation;
metal finishing; and special process compliance. Eaton Aerospace
Aurora is compliant to all current industry standards and
military specifications (MIL-Specs).
|
 |
Our Machining and sheet metal fabrication cells support the
needs of our tube shop for flexible couplings; hydraulic
fittings; high temperature, permanently sealed, bleed air
connections; and other assorted components. Quality Assurance
auditors augment the tube fabrication team, allowing a proactive
approach to problem resolution and the implementation of any
necessary corrective action. Potential problems are identified
and resolved early in processes, thereby reducing the cost of
quality.

Kitting
|
 |
We
can package any of our FDS products, or arrange for packaging to
any customer specification, including the ability to consolidate
deliveries into kit form ready for use on the custom's
production line. We offer the service of consolidating its
own product with that of other suppliers to form systems and
sub-systems that may be fitted directly to the airframe.
Dispatch and release paperwork is then produced on-line.
